Wow! Those are some ominous pictures. If those people had just listened to the generous offer made by Lord Humongous, this could have been avoided. He guaranteed them safe passage through the wasteland ...
It's not really left or right but the power establishment against the people. If the global corporatists have their way any place they want will have all the safety and quality of life of the former USSR, third world countries or Phillips, Texas. Regulations? If they can't "afford" to obey the regulations then they won't. So just outlaw their plans to begin with. And of course it is Not that we must either accept their plans or be without energy.
