Kevin at Fort Worthology reports an Apple Store is coming to Museum Place. While this thrills my Apple-loving heart, I hope it doesn't land on top of the soon-to-be-defunct Wreck Room, because that would spoil it for me. Big time.

Looks like I can, in fact, say that this is pretty well confirmed. The Fort Worth Apple Store at Museum Place will be on the south side of West 7th, near the corner of 7th & Arch Adams. Check my post again for the latest.

Fort Worth Camera has made a space in their he(arts) and their shop for an Apple rep. Met him recently--gave me his card, now where is it?--and he told me that workshops & demos might be happening there in the future. For now, he's doing sales & a little tech support, particularly in the realm of helping camera folks with their macs.
I also mentioned to the dude that at my workplace just up the hill (UNTHSC), a monthly (as i recall) meeting of the Cowtown Mac Users group takes place--free and open to all.
