Bowie's in Space, indeed. I am curious as to why you didn't make reference to the other celebrated birthday on January 8 ... Bob Eubanks! Oh, and there's Elvis Presley, too. Actually, January 8 is a bizarre birthday crossroads in pop culture: Besides Bowie, Eubanks, and Elvis, you have Gypsy Lee Rose, Shirley Bassey, Graham Chapman, Boris Vallejo, Stephen Hawking, masked wrestler Rey Misterio, Sr., and the Japanese guy who invented Yu-Gi-Oh.
